Today we woke up HOMEOWNERS ✨🔑✨
I am so overwhelmed with gratitude for the life we are building and the people who have supported us, mentored us, and helped us get here 🤩. This weekend I saw very powerfully how much love and support I have around me. @kelly_wedin & my team @miltenberger_team to name a few. Sometimes you get to pick your extended family, Or maybe they pick you. Either way there is so much love around me and I feel so incredibly lucky. We have worked our ASSES OFF to get to this point & it is so so worth it. Now, WHOSE COMING OVER FOR DINNER?!?😂🤪🏡🏡🏡🏡🏡

+We are looking at buying in the Seattle market as a major investment, even though we aren’t 100% sure we want to live here long term. We realize we can throw away money on rent OR we can take that same money and use it to build WEALTH. 💸💸💸

+I’ve been working on my credit for the past 2 years & recovering from the “never get a credit card” myth many 90s babies were taught. With a lot of hard work & tears, I have gone up over 100 points!!! (In some cases you only need 580 min score to buy a home, but 680 is a good benchmark goal!)

+We’re putting 5% down. YOU DON’T NEED 20% TO BUY A HOME. (If you know stuff & are asking😉: we are still on a Conventional loan program & getting a great rate. No down payment assistance needed). .

We got pre-approved early in our process. 🙏🏻 Pre-approval tells you IF and HOW MUCH you qualify for. It took about 15 minutes to apply online & then 30 minutes to track down the documentation needed. (Be wary of any lender that does not require documentation up front). We were approved in 24 hours with my team, @miltenberger_team. This way when we are looking online at homes, we aren’t falling in loves with homes WAY out of our price range!! ______
Then, OOPS! We found a home we loved 😱😱😱 way sooner than we were expecting. ✨✨✨ We submitted a competitive offer that was a stretch for us and then waited and waited and waited. In the end, we lost out 😔 I cried 😂.

So, what now??? We get back out there. We are super motivated & excited to find the right one. 🧐 The reality is that the real estate market HAS NOT slowed down! 🚨We are in a HEALTH crisis, not a housing crisis. 🚨 If you are able, it’s a great time to buy. I am super passionate about educating those around me as there are so many misconceptions regarding home ownership.

Quarantine or quaran-CLEAN 🤪✨ 100% improved my quality of life with just 3 simple organization helpers!!! I am not a very “neat” person so I need putting things away to be very easy & cute or I will leave. it. out. If that’s you trust me & do yourself a favor on these! All under $50.
